Small groups; study groups; coffee fellowship; Sunday school, worship hour and family Focus groups for all ages; music and arts ministries; prayer ministries...and much more! Small Groups Do you want to be a part of a group where you feel your needs can be met and where others pray for you?  Would you like to meet new friends and learn about God?  Do you want to develop a group of supportive friendships?  Small groups at Westshore are designed just for those purposes.  We have a number of small groups to get plugged into...what better way to get to know your church family! FOCUS Family Of Christ United on Sunday provides a time of fellowship, learning and togetherness for our families. Every-other Sunday night Sept-May, we meet from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. The whole congregation shares in a potluck along with learning, activities and fellowship. It is a great time to come together and learn about Christ in a family setting! Men's and Women's Study Groups This is a great way for men and women to learn about God's word. We have studies taking place throughout the week. Sunday School for Adults and Children We offer Sunday School classes for everyone at 9:30 A.M. Nursery through 12th grade have age appropriate classes and there are several adult groups offered. Prayer and Care Ministries We give prayer a high priority at Westshore because God's word gives prayer a high priority. 1 Thessalonians 5:16 urges us to "pray continually" and prayer needs to become our first response to people and situations. We offer a prayer chain which is a network of people who provide a blanket of prayer specifically for people and situations that are critical in nature and need immediate intervention by God. Music and Arts Ministries The Westshore Christian Church family loves to gather each Sunday morning to worship the Lord! It is our prayer and intention that hearts and lives be changed during this special time together as a church family. There are great opportunities for musicians, as well as those to work behind the scenes, to be involved. We utilize a praise band and praise singers to lead our worship. We also have teams that run the soundboard and operate the multimedia equipment each Sunday. There are always opportunities to share talents through special music, ensembles, dramas and video production. Wednesday Morning Coffee Fellowship Are you a retiree ready to laugh, pray and support your WCC family while enjoying coffee, tea and baked goodies? Join us for fellowship and a time of prayer at the church on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 A.M. Circles of Love This ministry offers a great way to fellowship with your church family. A "Circle" is made up of 3 families and they plan to meet just once a month for three months. Each month, the circle invites one additional family to join the fun. This is a great way to get to know many families in the congregation! Food Pantry & Garden This ministry provides food and basic necessities to those who need it. Not only for church members, we reach out the local community and invite those that need supplies to stop by the church and take what they need at no charge. Along with the ministries listed above, there are numerous other opportunities to serve at Westshore. From being a greeter to working with the youth, there is a place for you!
